Hotel and room was fine.
For a place to crash for one night, it was perfect. Nothing fancy but warm, clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and the location was five minutes from our event. Will stay again.

There was no heat in the bathroom the thermostat in the room was turned up to 80 and it did not get past 72 degrees cold air went through the air conditioner into the room the hot tub was barely lukewarm and the hallways we're just as cold as pretty much it was outside the thermostat holes way worth it at 70 and I checked it periodically and it didn't get any warmer than 52°. I will not stay there again.
I liked the size of the room and the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.
Different parts of our family stayed in this Inn for a family wedding. We were booked in the 'updated' section; others were in older rooms. Our room was definitely a retro decor, which was kind of cool. The bathroom was more contemporary, which is appreciated, yet didn't really match the feel of the remainder of the room. The air conditioning worked good, but the room was short of electrical outlets along some walls (there were extra outlets at the very small bedside table); we had to unplug the microwave to plug in a lamp. Lighting was also limited. There was no shower or hand soap available, even upon request. There was an iron in the room, but no ironing board, so I used a bath towel and the table in the room. An extra chair in the room would have been helpful as well. Because of tourist season, I booked our room a few months ago and I don't remember what I booked, but I hope it was a full bed, because that is what we got a bit smaller than what we are used to. The staff was polite and helpful and I would consider staying here again. It wasn't a bad experience, but a few more amenities would have made for a better experience.
It was convenient off the highway to go back up to Negaunee.
The rooms are clean, roomy and lots of parking. Looks like they have been newly renovated but kept the charm of the building.
The room was clean along with the entire complex. I liked the pool, hot tub and sauna. Friendly staff.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room and facility especially since we were traveling with dogs. This was our second stay at the hotel and we'll be back. Very private and clean rooms.
